SHOULD I WASH OR DYE MY SHOES?
For canvas or suede sneakers, usually you don't have to dye the shoes as it will change the original look of it. A proper wash will be sufficient to clean it. For leather shoes, the best option is always to dye the shoes to clean and restore the fresh look. You can even opt to change the colour of the shoes for a new look.
CAN THE MOULD BE REMOVED?
Unfortunately, we can mostly clear the mould up to 85% from its previous state. This is because moulds are usually not formed on the surface but penetrated into the leather. The only solution to clear the mould completely is to dye the leather altogether.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DYE AND BASIC POLISH?
A basic polish is done with the use of coloured shoe cream. While it still does restore the colour, it not as long lasting as leather dyes. Also, leather dyes are capable of replacing the original colour of the shoes, something which creams cannot do.
