HOW LONG DOES YOUR REPAIR SERVICE TAKE?
Estimated at around 4 weeks
WHAT KIND OF MATERIAL DO YOU USE FOR THE RESOLE?
We only use Vibram rubber to resole all our climbing shoes. Particularly, we have 3 different types of Vibram rubber that you can choose from.
XS Grip 2
Most popular amongst climbers in the region. Flexible, Grippy, suited for indoor climbing, especially bouldering.
XS Edge
Durable and Stiff rubber. A lot of climbers liked that the stiffness of the rubber helps them when it comes to edging. Suited for lead climbing as well as outdoor climbing.
XS Flash (New!)
New composition of rubber in town. This rubber is a mixture of flexibility and durability and it comes in Grey colour.
WHICH PART OF THE SHOE DO YOU RESOLE?
We will resole the Upper Rand as well as the Front Sole.
IS IT STILL POSSIBLE TO RESOLE IF THERE'S A HOLE AT THE TOE AREA?
Yes. We will have to patch the hole with leather before we begin the resoling process. There will be an additional charge of $5 for the patching.
HOW LONG WILL THE SOLE LAST AFTER THE RESOLE?
This really depends on the usage of every climber, depending on the frequency of use and the method of climb. Based on our experience, we see our regular climbers come back for resoling every 6 months - 2 years in general.
WHEN WOULD BE THE BEST TIME FOR ME TO SEND IT FOR RESOLE?
Its highly recommended to send your shoes for resoling before the holes start to appear on the rand.
